Bible Study

Disciple I Bible Study:  Many of us neglect this most important part of our Christian walk.  You might want to join a Disciple I Bible Study class or you might like to join a group like our 7:00 am Friday morning men's Bible Study.  Call our Discipleship chairman, Jim Dawson at 407-282-6362, to find out about opportunities for guided Bible study.

The Disciple I Bible Study is a wonderful opportunity for people to learn more about the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament and be transformed by God through them.  This study is open to adults (high school and older) who are hungry for the word of God, for building friendships, for prayer and for discovering how God wants to use us in service.  You do not have to be a member of Conway UMC and no prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary.

You may have heard it said that "Disciples of Jesus Christ are made and not born."  The goal of this Bible study is to make disciples of Jesus.  It takes work.  It is a challenge.  And there will never be a "good time" to do it.  But it is so worth it!

New Studies:  New studies begin randomly throughout the church year.  Please call the church office for the dates and times for new studies.  If you have a special interest, how about calling the office and requesting that a new study be organized?  Perhaps you might even wish to lead a new study.  We'd help you with that!

What's Your Interest?  Some current Bible Study groups meet at the church while some meet at private homes.  Some are for adults, men, women or mixed men and women.  Some are for young adults and some are for youth and children.  If you have an interest, either as a participant or leader, please give our Discipleship chair, Jim Dawson (407-282-6362), or the church office (407-277-5010) a call.
