The name STAR Group says something about the nature of the groups in this ministry.  These groups are all about Spiritual Transformation, Accountability and Renewal.  The STAR Group logo reveals an incomplete, moving star that reminds us that we are God's children moving toward wholeness.  The Apostle Paul says of God's people in the church at Philippi, "I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ."  In these groups people's lives are brought toward wholeness through five main ingredients: fellowship, prayer, study, accountability and service.
